We gather to worship God - not because God needs us to be complete,
but because we need to worship!
First, we were created by God to love, serve, and praise Him.
Second, we need a worship community to help us deepen our relationship with God.
Third, regular worship provides a compass that directs our lives and relationships.
We offer two weekly worship opportunities that follow the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer.
8:30 a.m. Sunday Mornings - The Service of Holy Communion - led by Father Link
9:00 a.m. Wednesday Mornings - Morning Prayer with Holy Communion -
led by Carol Reeves, lay leader, and Father Link
Our services include Bible readings, a sermon, prayers, and a celebration of
Holy Communion (also known as "The Lord's Supper" or "Holy Eucharist").
Sunday worship also includes congregational singing and other special music
supported by our organ and choir.
All baptized Christians (you don't have to be Episcopalian) are welcome to receive Holy Communion!
We offer gluten-free Communion wafers for those who prefer them.
In addition, Father Link leads two other worship services:
- 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mornings - Holy Communion - Church of Our Saviour, 115 West Man Street, Plainville
- Some Sundays at 2 p.m. - Worship at Village Gate Retirement Home, 88 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington
(Dates - March 4 and 25, April 15, and May 6.)
